Now a Senior Lecture, I have been teaching art classes here at Edgewood college for almost 15 years. I teach 2-dimensional design, Drawing, Figure Drawing, Watercolor, I-PAD design,Art structure , and sometimes Painting. I have to say that I feel like the living embodiment of the cliche',

"Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life!"

I am an artist ... My work is part of my art.. I am inspired by the students each and everyday and I try to be an inspiration for them as well! I received my Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of WI-Madison in 1994 and have been teaching in various venues ever since. The University of Wisconsin continuing Adult Ed. Program, MATC, Peninsula School of the Arts, Rhinelander School of Art, to name a few.

I am primarily a painter but also have done a lot of printmaking as well and have work in permanent collections in the Milwaukee Art Museum, and Anheuser-Busch in St Louis to name 2 of prominence. I have created a blog that contains images of my work and changing images of current student work at : colorpaintglaze.com ( where does art reside?) please visit and I look forward to comments.
